Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Map Your Month™ tool, located at mapyourmonth.com (the “Service”), operated by Thea Larsen (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Map Your Month™ tool is a free guided monthly planning practice. You provide your priorities, calendar items, and personal notes, and the Service generates a customized planning document delivered to your email.

2. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, copy, methodology, and teaching contained in the Service, including the customized planning document generated for you, is the proprietary work of Thea Larsen and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. “Map Your Month” and “Cowgirls Over Coffee” are trademarks of Thea Larsen.

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service and your generated document for your own personal planning purposes only.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not, and may not permit any third party to:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, modify, adapt, translate, transmit, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service or its content, in whole or in part, in any form or by any means;
• Sell, license, sublicense, rent, or lease any part of the Service or its content;
• Use any portion of the Service, the methodology, the teaching, or the generated document to create, train, or improve any artificial intelligence model, machine learning system, or competing product;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service;
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

4. User-Provided Information

You retain ownership of any priorities, dates, notes, or other information you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this information solely to generate your planning document and operate the Service. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as required to deliver the Service (such as our email and analytics providers).

5. Email Communication

When you provide your email address, you will receive your generated planning document and may be added to our email list. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of the Service is at your sole risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Thea Larsen be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your generated document, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thea Larsen from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted at this URL with the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arthur County, Nebraska.

Part Two

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Map Your Month™ tool.

1. Information We Collect and Retain

• Information you provide: First name and email address.
• Automatically collected: Standard analytics data (pages viewed, session duration, browser type) via Google Analytics.

2. Information We Do Not Retain

We do not store your planning content. The priorities, calendar dates, brain dump items, and any other notes you create using the Service are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are sent to our servers only at the moment you click Draft It, used solely to generate your planning document, and discarded immediately after the document is delivered. We do not save, archive, or otherwise retain this content on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your customized planning document.
• To email your document to you.
• To add you to our email list (you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email).
• To improve the Service.

4. Where Your Data Lives

Your name and email are processed by our email and list-management providers as described below.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following providers to deliver the Service:

• Render — website hosting
• Resend — email delivery
• Flodesk — email list management
• Google Analytics — usage analytics
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising analytics and audience measurement

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it processes the information shared with it.

6. Cookies

Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel use cookies to measure usage and support advertising. By using the Service, you consent to this use.

7. Your Rights

You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the link in any email we send you. To request deletion of any information we hold about you, contact admin@cowgirlsovercoffee.com.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
